Bloomers
The other day, I walked into Gisèle's room as she finished getting dressed and noticed that she had her undies on outside of her bloomers instead of underneath.
Me: "Gisèle, remember - your undies go inside your bloomers so you can keep them private."
Gisèle: "But I don't want to keep them private. I want my undies to be lorf."
Me: "Lorf??"
Gisèle: "Lorf. Like Jesus is Lorf."
Me: "You mean Lord?? Like Jesus is Lord??"
Gisèle: "Yes! I want my undies to be Lord!"
{She wanted everyone to see them and love them.}

The Laptop Will Be In My Arms...
... possibly as early as tomorrow! Cross your fingers and say some prayers. I have a bunch of pictures to post when I get it back!
**UPDATE (3/29/11)**
I'm typing this on our laptop!! Hopefully I can get our programs re-installed tonight and get some pictures uploaded. I'll get some on here as soon as I can. And for those who have actually seen the laptop - you'll be pleased to know we now have an "I" key. :)

Gisèle - The Writer
She is so good at writing her name! She's good at all of her letters, actually, and loves to identify letters to us in words she sees. She'll spell them out and ask "What dat spell, Mama?"
On this particular paper, she wrote out her name, and then proceeded to write a "note" to Nana. It was her own idea - a string of random letters, along with an ineligible scrawl. Unfortunately, this beautiful, creative piece of prose was done on her homework sheet. If we ever get that sheet back from school, we'll send it along, Nana!

Miles - He's Growing Up!
{It's been 3 days since dropping the laptop off at Best Buy, and it feels like a lifetime.}
Miles is wanting to do more and more things just the way his big sister does them. Lately, his favorite thing to do is climb up on the step stool by himself to brush his teeth. As soon as we say "bed", he points at his mouth and takes off running for the bathroom. Jamie snapped this picture on his phone a week and a half ago while I was out of town. Look at my big boy!

Oh, How Wrong I Was!
The CRASH happened Tuesday night, but the BIG CRASH happened this morning. The laptop is really and truly dead. Now we get to see how good the warranty really is.
Wish us luck!

CRASH
Well, the big CRASH happened last night.
Luckily, we backed up all of our photos and documents pretty recently, so we didn't lose anything too important. It'll be a pain to reinstall all of our programs, but we will survive! We were able to restore the computer to factory condition last night, so now we just have to rebuild, basically. Posts will be few and far between for a little while, but I'll do what I can.
In other news, Miles had his 15 month check-up this morning! (almost 2 months late! whoops!) He's 32 1/2 inches tall (75%), and 24 1/2 lbs (50%). He's right on target with his development, though the doctor said he's an early talker. We're not surprised, with Gisèle as an example!

Whoops - guess I was fibbing!
New posts will NOT be coming soon! In fact, they will be pretty sporadic for a while. Our laptop is very much on its way to Crashing, and is pretty impossible to use at the moment. I have all of our photos and documents backed up elsewhere, but won't be able to post anything from home until we get the computer fixed or replaced. I'll post what I can over my lunch break, but the blog may be pretty photo-less for a while!

New posts coming soon...
I just got home from a weekend away, and our computer is having issues. I'll do my best to get back to regular posting this week!
